Tokyo Yr arloeswyr

Gallwch hedfan o Gaerdydd i Japan gan newid awyren unwaith yn unig

Mae Japan yng ngogledd y Môr Tawel ac mae pob ymweliad yn addo profiad unigryw, wrth i Japan hudo teithwyr â’i ffordd hynod, ond traddodiadol, o fyw.

Mae Tokyo, prifddinas Japan, yn gyfuniad perffaith o’r hen a’r newydd, gan fod y ddinas yn rhoi’r un pwysigrwydd i’r dechnoleg fwyaf modern ag i’r gorffennol a’i gwnaeth yn bosibl. Gall ymwelwyr deithio trwy adeiladau mwyaf diweddar y ddinas i ddarganfod hen theatrau hynod yn dangos perfformiadau Kabuki, neu wylio reslo yn y Neuadd Sumo Genedlaethol. Mae’r un mor hawdd i chi dreulio oriau’n archwilio dyfeisiau sy’n sbarduno’r dychymyg, neu i sipian te mewn caffi cathod.

Darganfyddwch y tueddiadau diweddaraf, blaswch swshi a gadewch i Japan fynd â chi’n ôl i’r dyfodol.

  1. Treuliwch amser yn gwylio pobl. Mae 12 miliwn o bobl yng nghanol Tokyo, felly mae’r weithred syml o wylio pobl yn un hawdd. Ewch i Barc Yoyogi gan fod hwn yn fan cyfarfod poblogaidd.
  2. Canwch nerth eich pen! Ni allwch ymweld â Japan heb afael mewn meicroffon a chanu carioci yn Smash Hits, sydd yn un o’r mannau mwyaf poblogaidd ar gyfer hynny.
  3. Neidiwch ar drên. Mae Japan yn wlad anhygoel o effeithlon a gallwch deithio o un pen o’r wlad i’r llall ar drên cyflym iawn. Cadwch olwg am Orsaf Shibuya yn Tokyo!
  4. Ewch i weld Mynydd Fuji. Â sôn am drenau, un o’r ffyrdd gorau o weld Mynydd Fuji yw trwy deithio o Tokyo i Osaka ar drên. Dylech allu gweld y mynydd ar ôl tua 40 munud o deithio.
  5. Prynwch rywbeth i'ch atgoffa o'ch taith. Mae siopau rhagorol ledled Japan yn gwerthu popeth o ddillad gan ddylunwyr i anrhegion unigryw a fydd yn syfrdanu’r sawl sy’n eu derbyn. Mae llawer o siopau electronig yn Akihabara a chewch hyd i siopau bach ffasiynol yn Harajuku.

If you get chance, book yourself into a Ryokan for the night. A traditional Japanese Inn, you’ll leave your shoes at the entrance, don a pair of Japanese slippers and a yukata (cotton kimono) and spend the night sleeping on a futon on the tatami (reed) floor

100 Yen shops are the place to go to pick up a bargain. The equivalent of our £1 shop, but they sell pretty much anything you can imagine, and are the perfect place to pick up a few Hello Kitty or Pokemon souvenirs to take home

Toilets! Yes toilets, obviously a necessity but also a must see of any visit to Japan. Japanese toilets have more buttons than a laptop … although take my advice it seems most of them squirt water in one or other direction, so press them at your peril!

Konnichiwa means ‘hello’ and don’t forget to bow; arigato means ‘thank you’ and will impress the locals and finally the all important kampai – cheers!
