  1. Swim in azure waters: this Greek Island is known for its pretty beaches, and there’s a host of pebbly coves and sandy bays to chill on a sun lounger or swim in crystal clear waters. Shipwreck beach is a favourite!
  2. Sail away! Explore the coastline by boat. Zakynthos Town has plenty of charters that shuttle visitors to beautiful spots, such as Turtle Island.
  3. Dance the night away: If you’re after a party holiday, the resorts of Tsivilli and Laganas are famed for their nightlife. Both resorts have plenty of bars, pubs and clubs to keep you dancing until dawn!
  4. Explore Greek History: Zakynthos has a rich cultural history influenced by ancient traditions through to renaissance traders. Explore the tale of Zante’s past through its art, music and museums.
  5. See turtles! Of Zakynthos’ special attractions is the Loggerhead Turtles that can be seen in July and August on the island’s beaches. You can also spot them year round at some of the hidden spots such as the Blue Grotto Caves at the island’s pinnacle, which can be reached by one of the many boat charters.
