Cardiff Airport will be much busier than usual during some key dates around Rugby World Cup 2015 season:

Ireland v Canada, 19 September 2015 KO 1430
France v Ireland, 11 October 2015 KO 1645
Quarter Final, 17 October 2015 KO 2000
Quarter Final, 18 October 2015 KO 1300

Please ensure you plan ahead before travelling so that your experience with us is enjoyable and stress-free.

An express bus service (T9) operates directly from the terminal to the City Centre and costs from £5, you can also pay in Euros - €7 one way and €10 return. A short shuttle bus journey (costing £1) connects the Airport to the train station at Rhoose, which is a 30-minute rail journey to Cardiff Central Station costing £4.30 for a single journey. Taxis are also available from the terminal with a fixed fare to central Cardiff of about £31. The journey to the City Centre by road typically takes 30 minutes.


If you are arriving from outside the UK – make sure you read the helpful leaflet from UK Border Force to ensure your entry into the country is as easy as possible.

The Airport is well connected within the UK and internationally. There are domestic air services from Newcastle, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Jersey and Anglesey. Cardiff is also served by direct routes from Ireland (Dublin and Cork) and many other European cities including Paris, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Munich and Dusseldorf.  Connecting flights are available from over 900 destinations using these international hubs.
