Ryanair has announced its expansion with the launch of a 2017 summer route to Faro, Portugal, following the success of its weekly summer flight to Tenerife and its twice weekly winter flights to Tenerife.
From today, customers planning on escaping to the Portuguese sun next year can also fly with Ryanair which will run twice weekly from Wales national Airport. Tickets are on sale now from just £24.99 at www.ryanair.com
The new Faro route increases Ryanair capacity from Cardiff to 43,000 passengers a year, a year-on-year growth of over 70% for the period of March 2017/18 from 2016/17.
Flights to Faro will begin operating twice a week on a Monday and Friday from March 27th 2017.
Today’s announcement is sure to be welcomed by Welsh passengers looking to enjoy the stunning beaches, lively nightlife, world class golf courses and big wave surfing all accessible from Faro, the gateway to the Algarve.
