Cardiff Airport raises over £2000 for charity through raffle

The money was raised by holding a charitable raffle amongst Cardiff Airport staff, organised by the Airport Duty Managers.

All proceeds from the raffle collection have been donated to Velindre Cancer Centre, which provides specialist cancer services to over 1.5 million people in South East Wales and beyond.

Deb Barber, CEO of Cardiff Airport, said: “Velindre Cancer Centre is very close to the hearts of many of the team at Cardiff Airport, and we are delighted to have raised so much for the charity that works hard to provide excellent treatment and wonderful care for patients undergoing cancer treatment.”
